Finally! A Loving Dad Searching For His Daughter Will Be Reunited With Her
On January 8, 1994 fruit stand owners, Wang Mingqing together with his wife lost their 3-yr. old daughter in the street of Chengdu in China. Their daughter got lost when she was playing nearby and the two were tending to their customers who at the time were many.
For years he tried to look for his daughter by putting up posters and asking the help of authorities but when he still couldn’t find her. He then chose to become a taxi driver hoping he could talk to more people and get more information so that he could find her.
This dad didn’t give up hope even if it has been 24 years. He went to work everyday as a cab driver and giving out flyers to his passengers and telling them how they could contact him in case they become aware of her whereabouts. He didn’t grow tired and instead, he patiently waited for the time that they may see each other again.
There are 1.4 billion people in China so his chances were minimal but he was driven to send out those flyers just so he can have some chance of finding her and this March, a 27-yr old woman named Kang Ying contacted the police and Wang to ask for a DNA test saying that she might be the daughter he’s been searching for. To add, Kang lives in Panshi City, Jilin Province which is just 20 kilometers away from where she got lost.
The DNA test result showed that indeed, Kang Ying is Wang Qifeng, the taxi driver Wang’s missing daughter. She said she’s aware she’s adopted but didn’t know more beyond that. Her adoptive parents live just a few kilometres away.
Wang was all tears when he received the call from his daughter that he called his wife right away. She’s flying to Chengdu so to reunite with her beloved daughter.
