The theme of X Factor UK’s live shows for this week is George Michael.
For her performance, Alisah Bonaobra sang her own rendition of Praying for Time.
She left the judges and contestants awestruck after her performance.
If we think her last week’s performance is already outstanding, Alisah Bonaobra outdid herself again. For this weekend, the live show’s theme is George Michael, which can be good news for fans of the great artist but could also not be exciting for contestants who are not fans of the Too Funky’s music.
George Michael tragically died during Christmas last year and the X Factor UK’s live show is set to celebrate his music.
Her Magical Performance
For this week’s live performance show, Alisah took the stage and the hearts of the audience and judges by singing her own rendition of George Michael’s iconic Praying for Time.
Even at the beginning of her performance, you will know that something is up at the end of the show. Wearing a sparkling jumpsuit and a fresher hairdo, Alisah puts her unique diva stamp on the song and blew everyone away, including the other contestants.
As the song progressed, her background changed and lights were projected, making the stage look as if it is her own concert. She belted the high notes effortlessly and finished the performance strong.
Performance of the Night
Her performance for this week looks as if it was her night. She left other contestants beaming and received another standing ovation from Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger. Even Simon and Louis were both clapping their hands with smiles on their faces, making Alisah relieved and happy after her performance.
