- Ateneo de Manila decided to dismiss the bully student
- Bully Student no longer allowed to come back to the Ateneo
Manila, Philippines — Few days after the Ateneo Bullying Incident went viral, Ateneo De Manila University (ADMU) finally decided to kick out the junior high school student involved in bullying other students.
The University President said that the decision was made after “thorough investigation” and after meeting with both parties concerned.
“After a thorough investigation that included listening to all parties involved, the decision of the administration is to impose the penalty of dismissal on the student caught bullying another student in the comfort room of the school. This means that he is no longer allowed to come back to the Ateneo,” Villarin said on a statement issued December 23.
According to ADMU President Fr. Jose Ramon “Jett” Villarin SJ, the said dismissal also means the dismissed student “is no longer allowed to come back to the Ateneo.”
“We are continuing the investigation as there are other matters involved in the incident,” the President added.
Meanwhile, here are some questions, opinions, and reactions from Netizens:

👍🏻👍🏻 It has to happen to a prestigious school in order to INCREASE AWARENESS for this long standing problem— not only in Ateneo but in other schools as well.
