- Ed Sheeran reschedules concert in Manila, from November 7 to April 8, 2018
- He also reschedules tour in Osaka and Tokyo
This rescheduling matter was due to Ed Sheeran’s cycling injury, which he posted last October 18 on his Instagram account. He posted a photo of his arms both casted/bandaged which gathered concerned comments from his fans.
The 26-year old British Singer-Songwriter told his fans that due to his injury, the doctor advise him to move the tour dates by November for full recovery. Better to have well-working arms to play the guitar, right?
He also added, “I’m really gutted that not all the postponed dates could be rescheduled and I am working hard with my team to try and come back to these places as soon as I can to see all of you. I’m sorry to everyone who has been affected by this.”
A visit to my doctors confirmed fractures in my right wrist and left elbow that will leave me unable to perform live concerts for the immediate future. Sadly, this means that the following shows will not be able to go ahead as planned: Taipei, Osaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong. I’m waiting to see how the healing progresses before we have to decide on shows beyond that. Please stay tuned for more details. PS – Ed isn’t typing this as he has both arms casted/bandaged.
His concert was supposed to happen this November 7 at the Mall of Asia concert grounds, with LAUV as front act. Fans doesn’t need to do a refund, as tickets for the show will remain valid for the new dates.
Unfortunately, Sheeran’s shows at Taipei, Seoul, Hong Kong, and Jakarta were cancelled indefinitely impossible to reschedule for 2018.
Sheerios were a bit disappointed as some have already filed their leave and booked their flights. While some fans were still thankful for the rescheduling, unlike Justin Bieber who have completely cancelled his World Tour.
you know that your priorities in life are screwed up when u reschedule your operation date cause of ed sheeran concert.
