It is no doubt that volleyball player and ex PBB housemate Michelle Gumabao has one of the prettiest faces in the entertainment industry. With this being said, it is no surprise that she made it to the cut of this year’s Binibining Pilipinas 2018.

Michelle Gumabao joins the pageantry alongside with other TV personalities. She will be joining Vickie Rushton who is also an ex PBB housemate, and Fil-Am model, Catriona Gray.

In an article from ABS-CBN, both ex PBB housemates reportedly trained with pageant camps, Aces and Queens, and Kagandahang Flores.

She is also considered to be the early favorite in the pageant because aside from the pretty face, she takes part in an active lifestyle, and obviously has the long legs to strut in the runway.

Road to Binibining Pilipinas 2018

Before entering the showbiz industry, Michele Gumabao is a member of La Salle’s Lady Spikers, who in 2011 edged out UST Tigresses in Game 2 of the Season 73 Finals. On the 2015 Philippine Super Liga season, she joined the Philips Gold Lady Slammers (later known as the Pocari Sweat Lady Warriors), where she was named team captain. She departed in 2017 due to a falling out with the team management but joined United VC a week after.

She also happens to be the elder sibling of Kapamilya actor Marco Gumabao, and both are child of the former actor, Dennis Roldan.

Yes, it’s clear that Michele can outshine the others in volleyball. But will it be the same for the quest for the crown?
