Another Filipino is ready to take the entertainment world by storm through singing! Loverine Fermino is another contender of X Factor 2017.
Fight for a Place
Fermino sang Jennifer Holliday’s “And I am Telling You I’m Not Going” to get a place in the six seats available forScherzinger.
While she was singing the piece, the contestants’ faces were amazed and nervous at the same time. Nicole Scherzinger, one of the judges with Filipino blood, changed from straight face to a smiling one before Fermino wrapped up the song.
The audience screamed and there were several standing ovations.
Even Sharon Osbourne was surprised with her song. She even quoted:
“Some people say sing for your life and my goodness, you did.”
Simon also said she sang because she really wants it and urged Nicole to give her a seat.
Nicole revealed that she did not like Fermino’s audition and said it was her worst audition.
Despite Nicole not liking her audition, she shocked everyone when she said Fermino deserves a seat.
“I love a fighter and you are a fighter and I want you on my team so you will take a seat.”
Fermino managed to steal Talia Dean’s spot, which left the rest of the judges angry, especially Simon.
Looks like there are two strong Filipino contenders in X Factor 2017 now.
