Filipina singer Alisah Bonaobra selected Beyonce’s Listen as her audition piece.
She joined the X Factor UK to represent her fellow Filipinos.
The singer left Osbourne teary-eyed and Scherzinger crying.
Filipinos are surely terrific singers and that was even assured recently by one of X Factor UK 2017 contestants, Alisah Bonaobra who took the judges by storm.
Not Her First Singing Contest
Joining singing contests is not new for the 22-year-old Filipina singer from Manila, Philippines. She also won as a runner-up for The Voice Philippines.
Bonaobra hoped for a better success and she did not make a mistake with it when she chooses Beyonce’s song Listen as her audition song.
She is very confident with her singing ability and knows that she will represent the Philippines with her talent.
“I believe my talent is world class and I’m here to represent all the Filipino community here in the UK.”
Fellow Filipino, Nicole Scherzinger’s found her tiny. Simon Cowell also asked her what the X Factor means to her.
To Represent the Philippines
“This X Factor journey is very memorable for me because I dedicate this fight for my family way back in the Philippines. I’m only here because of my mother’s friend, who contributed enough money for a plane ticket, just to audition here.”
The Filipino singer got four yeses from the judges who were very happy and contented with her audition.
She left Scherzinger crying and Obsbourne teary-eyed after singing and Cowell and Walsh also said there is something within her that they really, really like.
Do you think Bonaobra will make it to the top? Will it be finally Filipino’s turn to win the grand contest?
