Find Out the Secret Behind This Stunning Sky Ladder

Grandparents are celebrated in different ways in many countries across the globe. Honoring them in the most special way possible is our major obligation to our heritage and our family. I think what makes them the most amazing people in the world is their ability to give us unconditional love and kindness regardless of how many mistakes we’ve made.

To honor and show his deepest gratitude to his grandmother who raised him and supported his dream of becoming an artist, New York-based prominent fireworks artist Cai Guoqiang created the Sky Ladder, a stunning gigantic staircase that stretches 1650 feet into the sky in Quanzhou, southeastern China. Measureing 18-feet wide, it was made up of metal and aluminum wires and was filled with gunpowder.

You’re probably wondering how he was able to make the ladder reach the sky. Well, it was attached to the bottom of a hot air balloon that was launched from a boat off the shore of Huiyu Island in Fujian Province.

Check out the video once more but at least now, you know.
