A Filipino is making the country proud again. A Filipino-Belgian contestant named Ian Lodens successfully won in the grand finals of Belgium Got Talent with his dance partner.

Who is Ian Lodens?

Ian is a Filipino-Belgian mixed martial artist who is making the country proud once again. He was able to make it to the grand finals of Belgium Got Talent. Add to that, he also won the Jiujitsu World Championship for the third time. Ian is set to impress the audience and the judges together with his dance partner, Natascha Van Es.

The dance duo was able to impress the judge and the audience with their amazing acrobatic dancing skills. They were able to accumulate a high number of text votes during the semi-finals.


According to Ian, his speed and strength in dancing were the results of his jiujitsu and combat sports training. Thanks to years of practice, he was able to become more flexible and strong in performing their jaw-dropping stunts.

Not an Easy Journey

The half-pinky dancer also revealed that the journey to the grand finals of the prestigious show was not easy. However, they were able to surpass all the challenges with the help of his Filipino mother from Quezon City. She was constantly asking other people for help to support for him.

Proud ako na world jujitsu champion si Ian at mas lalo na ngayon na nasa finals siya ng ‘Belgium’s Got Talent.’ Kaya mga kababayan ko, sana suportahan niyo sina Ian at Natascha.

The duo bested 11 other acts with their acrobatic dance routine. They won a cash prize of P50,000 euro!

According to Ian, he will use the prize to visit the Philippines with his mother, use some with the family, and save the rest for his future.
