Do you want to live off-the-grid and far from the pressures of the modern world? Here’s a good news for you.
Bratislava-based Nice Architects designed an egg-shaped, wind and solar powered portable home called Ecocapsule.
It offers an extraordinary dwelling experience and is suitable for wide range of functions such as an independent research station, roadhouse, tourists’ cabin or emergency shelter.
With an area of approximately 8 square meters, it provides a comfortable living space for 2 people, with the luxuries of warm bed, running water and a tiny kitchen.
Promising sustainable technology, this Ecocapsule is powered by a 750 watt wind turbine & solar cells and comes with 9,744 watt-hour battery for extra power.
This state-of-the-art portable home is designed to supply all the energy essential for a comfortable prolonged stay.
The spherical shape helps for rainwater collection, which is then filtered for use.
The company will begin to take pre-orders by the end of 2015, for shipping in the first half of 2016.
