International Comedian Russell Peters brings his Deported World Tour to Manila

  • The show will be held at the PICC Plenary Hall while ticket selling will be on January 8.

It’s definitely going to be a fun and exciting event as global comedian Russell Peters brings his Deported World Tour in Manila on March 10, 2018.

The show will feature ALL NEW MATERIAL, plus Peters’ signature interactions with the audience. It will also uniquely feature one of David Letterman’s favourite comics, the legendary raconteur of weird stories, comedian Jake Johannsen.

“I love getting to know my audience. It’s a collaboration between us.”

This show is produced and announced by AEG Presents and Ovation Productions.

Peters, 47, is a Canadian stand-up comedian who became the first comedian to get a Netflix stand-up special. His humour highlights racial, ethnic, class and cultural stereotypes.

His first career goes way back in 1992 when he met George Carlin, and was told to get on stage whenever and wherever as possible. In 2007, 15 years later, he hosted one of Carlin’s last shows before Carlin’s death the following year.

In 2004, Russell Peters performed on the Canadian TV comedy show Comedy Now!, which was uploaded onto YouTube and became viral, as the turning point in his career.

Also, Russell Peters produced and starred in his own comedy-drama limited series for Netflix, The Indian Detective. The Indian Detective also stars Anupam Kher (The Big Sick, Silver Linings Playbook), William Shatner (Star Trek), Christina Cole (Suits, Casino Royale), Mishqah Parthiephal (Keeping Up with the Kandasamys). The Indian Detective will air December 19th on Netflix globally.
