Good news for Jollibee patrons out there! In a recent post by Spot.ph, Jollibee is bringing back one of their cult-favorite menu items: the Aloha Yumburger.
If there’s one thing Filipinos are fond of, it’s reliving the classic. Since Jollibee promises of bringing the langhap-sarap treats to all the Filipinos – the brand thought it’s about time ‘Aloha Yumburger’ make its comeback.
On Septemer 30, Jollibee’s Official Facebook page posted a teaser of the legendary langhap-sarap burger coming back soon. Obviously, two pineapples seen in the video is enough proof that it’s the Aloha Yumburger that’s making its comeback.
The iconic Philippine fast food chain has been offering the best on their menu by bringing back the classics, including the famous burger with pineapple. For only Php 85, you’ll get to taste the perfect contrast of beefy goodness, salt and sweetness inside the soft bun. The burger is topped off with cheese, lettuce, honey, mustard dressing, and a round pineapple sandwiched in between.
Yumburgers and Chickenjoy are among the meals adorned by people all over the world. In fact, various YouTube videos aka ‘Jollibee Taste Test’ are being uploaded while savoring their favorite Jollibee food.
Even renowned TV host, Anthony Bourdain featured Jollibee on one of his Parts Unknown episode.
“That’s a very tasty burger”
On the first episode of Parts Unknown, famed food critic and TV host Anthony Bourdain tried his first-ever Aloha burger in Jollibee, Los Angeles branch. He and Korean-American celebrity chef Rey Choi also tried the Halo-Halo and Spam ‘ Little Big Bite’. He complimented the burger and said “That’s a very tasty burger.” In 2015, he returned to Manila and cited Jollibee as the ‘wackiest, jolliest place on Earth.’
According to the article, Aloha Yumburger will be available in all branches starting today, October 2.
