Some girls dream to be a doctor or nurse, some flight stewardess or a philanthropist and for some, they want to be a beauty queen. They want to touch the lives of people through their beauty, brains and humanitarian advocacies. And for the stunning Filipina beauty, Sarah Christine Bona, being crowned the first Miss Nature Intercontinental 2017 was definitely a dream come true.
The pageant which lasted for 6 days from September 4 – 10 took place in Szczecin, Poland and Hotel Dana was where the contestants stayed for the rest of the event. Miss Nature Intercontinental was founded by Miss International 2001 Malgorzata Rozniecka from Poland.
This prestigious pageant was an event for tackling issues about environmental awareness, pollution, poisonous gases, promotion for cleaner air and water, healthy living and human life and all the contestants from all over the world got a chance to share their visions, knowledge of the current, past and future of our environment.
Philippines’ representative, Sarah, made sure that she wins the most coveted prize for the event. She didn’t only bring a beautiful face for the world to see, she brought her talent, her wits and her intelligence with her as well.
That is why she was deemed the crown. Being well-experienced in the beauty pageant world, Sarah was crowned Saniata ti Ilocos Sur 2017 Tourism which was a part of Kannawidan Festival when she represented the town of Alilem; she was also an official candidate of Binibining Pilipinas 2016, Miss Kaogma 2015, Miss Pulang Anggui 2015, Miss Hannas Eco-Tourism 2014 and Miss Iriga 2015 1st runner-up.
Belonging to the Top 6 were Miss Slovakia, Miss Bulgaria, Miss Poland, Miss USA, Miss Belarus.
