Meanwhile, ABS-CBN rose from the ranks this year. The no. 1 entertainment and media company ranked eight this year; being only on the tenth place last year.
Here’s the complete list of the Top Ten Companies for 2017;
2. SAN MIGUEL CORPORATION
3. GOOGLE, PHILIPPINES
4. NESTLE PHILIPPINES
6. BDO Unibank
7. PROCTER & GAMBLE
9. PLDT, INC.
UNILEVER, a multinational company was last seen in this survey in 2015. It ranked tenth this time.
Last year, the most important reason the respondents chose their top ten companies is for the competitive salary these companies give. It’s a bit different this time, job security being the most important reason for considering the companies they chose.
The respondents were mostly junior executives from different fields and the newly graduates. The results showed that more than financial gain, the respondents are interested in long-term security and gains for this would mean more chances of career growth, trainings that will enhance their careers and a good leadership that will lead them to their best professional skills, and job security.
