Official Results: September 2019 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) Secondary Results

List of passers for the Licensure Exam for Teachers Secondary Education which took place on September 2019.

Manila, Philippines – The results for the Licensure Exam for Teachers for Elementary Education, which took place on September 2019, will be published between November 25 and December 9, 2019.

Teachers become the second parent of children who attends schools, and they are tasked to teach their students a lot of things, not just academic subjects, but to also guide them with things that they will need to learn as they grow up.

The requirements needed for one to be able to take the Licensure Exam for Teachers are the following:

  • NSO / PSA Birth Certificate
  • NSO / PSA Marriage Contract (for married female applicants)
  • Transcript of Records with scanned picture and Remarks “For Board Examination Purposes” (First Timer & Repeater)
  • Payment: P900.00
  • Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education for teachers who want to teach in Elementary School
  • A bachelor’s degree in education or its equivalent with a major and minor and the degrees which shall be considered equivalent; must have to take at least 18 units in Professional Education, or a bachelor’s degree in arts and sciences with at least ten units in professional education for teachers for Secondary education

The coverage of the examination are as follows:

  • Two parts for Elementary education:
    • General Education (40%)
    • Professional Education (60%)
  • Tree parts for Secondary education:
    • General Education (20%)
    • Professional Education (40%)
    • Specialization (40%)

English, Filipino, Mathematics, Science, and Social Sciences are covered by General Education, while Professional Education covers other aspects such as teaching profession, social dimensions of education, principles of teaching, among other things.

For Secondary Education teachers, the following will fall under Specialization, depending on the course that the teacher chose:

  • English
  • Filipino
  • Biological Sciences
  • Physical Sciences
  • Mathematics
  • Social Studies/Social Sciences
  • Values Education
  • MAPEH
  • Agriculture and Fishery Arts
  • Technology and Livelihood Education

The results of the test are usually published after 44 working days after the exam.
