Another witness stated that she heard one of the men ordering Kian to hold the gun. The teenager was surprised and scared when he asked, “Ano pong gagawin ko dito?”

One of the men in civilian said, “Iputok mo! Tapos tumakbo ka!” The witness said the student tearfully run for his life.

Not a Drug Addict

The father of Kian, Saldy Delos Santos, denied the allegation that his son is a drug addict. He revealed that Kian is dreaming of becoming a policeman someday, after being inspired by the movie “Narcos.”

The teenager was attested by his neighbors to be a good son and model student, selling candies to continue his studies.

Saldy also questioned the claims that his son had a gun during the shootout. He said that if his son had a gun, the policemen will discover it immediately when he patted him down for weapons.

Chief Inspector Amor Cerillo stated that the teenager was believed to be a drug runner by Neneng Escopino who is on the watch list.
