There is one thing that time and death have in common, both wait for no man. This award winning animation goes through the most controversial and essential worries of the human mind – facing the inevitable, the desire for more time and dealing with death.
Created by a Dublin-based studio And Maps And Plans, this Irish animated short film titled Coda received over 20 recognitions on the international film festival circuit and was also shortlisted for the 87th Academy Awards in February 2015.
Directed by Alan Holly, the story tells of a drunken man who died of a tragic and untimely accident. His soul wandered through the city until Death finds him in the park. The man felt that he wasn’t ready to die so he tried bargain with Death. The latter showed him many things before the poor soul finally gave in.
