Ateneo Bullying victim required to undergo surgery due to fractures and injuries
According to a Facebook post, the victim of the recent Ateneo Bullying incident involving Ateneo high school students needs to undergo surgery due to injuries and fractures caused by the mauling incident inside the school restroom.
The primary suspect according to reports was Joaquin Montes and his brother. Both of them are Taekwondo black belters and the Taekwondo community was also alarmed and immediately issued a statement following the incident.
Based on the video circulating online, Joaquin Montes insulted and mauled his fellow student inside one of the comfort rooms of the university in Katipunan, Quezon City.
A netizen J Madrid shared that the bullying victim suffered multiple nose fractures and required to undergo surgery. According to the tweet, the victim tried to hide the real cause of the injury and said it was due to a basketball accident.

Meanwhile Jose Ramon Villarin SJ, President of ADMU said that the university does not tolerate such bullying as the school promotes to its students “to respect the dignity of others.”
