Life is like a stage, sometimes we are the actors and in some events, we are part of the audience. But whether you’re performing or not, the show must go on even if you don’t like the story.
On April 15, 2013, America was shocked by the Boston Marathon bombing. Three people died and more than 260 people got injured in this terrifying terrorist attack. Adrianne Haslet-Davis, a professional ballroom dancer, was one of the victims who got severely wounded. She lost part of left leg that day but she never lost her passion and will for dancing.
With her extraordinary determination and perspective in life, Adrianne returns to the site of the bombing with her partner. Wearing a wonderful gown and a prosthetic leg, she refused to give up on herself and danced her way to the finish line.
This video is part of the commercial campaign for Oberto Beef Jerky called “Heroes of Summer.”
It is very inspiring to see people who never let their disabilities get in the way of their goals. What can you say about Adrianne’s outlook in life? Were you inspired by her story? Feel free to leave your comments below.
