Pinay singer, Kathrina Feigh gets a 2-chair turn in ‘The Voice’ Season 13 blind audition.
She arrived at ‘The Voice’ with a background in musical theater, including playing Bloody Mary in South Pacific, and Gigi in Miss Saigon.
Feigh performed a cover Jessie J’s song ‘Big White Room’ showcasing her powerful vocals during ‘The Voice’ blind auditions. It took time before Hudson and Shelton pressed their button – it was when Feigh and brought the low notes on point and finishes the song flawlessly.
Adam Levine even said good luck to Shelton, whether if he’ll get chosen to be the mentor. Miley Cyrus on the other hand thinks that if Feigh is looking for a coach who can work with same voice and similar tone, it should be Jennifer.
You’re voice is amazing- Jennifer Hudson
Hudson complimented Feigh’s voice that it was amazing. Her performance have moved Hudson and that her vibrato and quality she have made her turn her chair. Afterwards, Feigh sent her gratitude to Hudson that her comments mean a lot to her and that she was a big fan. She even added that she’ve seen Hudson in Broadway.
On the other hand, Blake Shelton added that there is a broad spectrum of what he think Feigh can be musically. And that there’s also a raspiness and attractive means to her music. Blake quipped “You’re the kind of arist who can get me to turn around and go Oh my God, that is unbelievable. I gotta have that on my team.”
In a twitter post last week by Lea Salonga, she said that Feigh is a contestant to watch out for.
