NAIA Thieves Strikes Again! OFW Lost Belongings on Terminal 2
OFW lost hard earned belongings at the NAIA Terminal 2
OFW reported the incident to a NAIA staff but got no response
It’s not easy to work abroad; away from your family and the life you have gotten used to in your native country. These OFWs face a difficult time abroad. They endure a long period of hardship and loneliness overseas just so they can earn money for their loved ones and give them a better future especially their children.
When they come home after several years of hard work, they are very excited in bringing several “pasalubong” for their family and friends.
For some years now, sad to say, OFWs have fallen victims to thieves in the airport. Many have been reporting lost valuables because of this alleged modus operandi which many suspect are done by some airport personnel.
Just recently, an OFW who just came home from Macau lost the belongings he had placed inside his luggage. This happened at the Terminal 2 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
The OFW from PAL flight PR353 said he noticed that his baggage was damaged when he got hold of it and got shocked that several belongings have been missing. These include two pairs of Adidas Stansmith shoes.
He reported the incident to a NAIA staff but his complaint fell on deaf ears as he did not get any response at all. A younger brother of the OFW said that they were just given a run around by the NAIA staff. Heres what he posted on Facebook:
NAKAKALOKA ANG NINOY AQUINO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TERMINAL 2

This incident was uploaded in the Facebook page All About The Philippines and got negative reactions from the netizens. Some even shared their own experiences at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport; losing their belongings and even cash.

Another one said that it’s because the GM of NAIA did not replace the employees, that’s why this kind of incident is still happening.
