Filipino singer Lance Busa is the winner of Michael Bolton’s talent search – Bolt of Talent.

Bolt of Talent is FOX Networks Group’s highly anticipated singing competition hosted by American singer-songwriter and pop culture icon Michael Bolton.This show focuses on discovering gifted singers across Asia. It aired its premiere episode last August 16 at on Star World with the Philippines opening the season.
“I’ve been through a lot of ups and downs. I was on the verge of quitting [music], working an 8 to 5 job, I was struggling.”
In line with Busa’s win, he will receive a recording deal and will join Michael Bolton Asian Dream Tour. He will also be Subaru’s ambassador.
22-year old Lance is originally from Butuan. He had joined singing contest in a local TV network, and from then, continued his passion for singing.
Lance Busa underwent various challenges in the competition including recreating a famous Michael Bolton song and singing an opera while inside the fast-moving vehicle. He competed with other talent dreamers across Asia including Hans Dimayuga, a contender also from the Philippines, Cassandra Anne and Gregory Ramanado from Malaysia, Tsui Fang “Dena” Chang and Wei-Chen “Holly” Lou from Taiwan, and Jutarat “Paige” Mangkalarangsee from Thailand.
Michael Bolton will be heading to Manila as part of his Asian Dream tour on November 3, 2017 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, an Lance Busa as the opening act.
