MANILA, Philippines – Some LGU’s and Schools announced the suspension of classes for Tuesday, August 6, due to bad weather brought about by southwest monsoon or hanging Habagat. Here is a list of areas where classes and work have been suspended for Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019. According to PAGASA, the Southwest monsoon is being enhanced by Tropical Storm Hanna (Lekima).

At 3:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Storm “HANNA”°(LEKIMA) was estimated based on all available data at 1,060 km East of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan (17.4°N, 131.7°E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph an gustiness of 80 kph. It is moving North at 15 kph. Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas.
