Vincenzo Episode 7 Recap
As Vincenzo Strides through the courtroom and was presented by Cha-young as her witness, Babel and Wusang were caught unprepared. Episode 7 is where the legal battle begins. Vincenzo was able to come up with a plan and acquired liable witnesses to spill Babel’s dirty deeds. As per their plan, Joo-sung pretended as one of Babel’s employees, the head of the research team who found evidence against Babel.

Our leads team was able to successfully file charges against Babel by presenting a credible witness. Vincenzo uses his charm to lure Yeo-won to give her testimony, wife of Dr. Gil Jong-moon, Babel’s doctor who was given a bribe to lie about the employee’s cause of illness. Yeo-woon as a leukemia expert was credible enough to be a witness; she also presented the exchange of emails of his husband with Dr. Ramos inquiring how to cure BLSD. Soon, Jong-moon admits that the employee’s cause of illness is related to improper toxic waste disposal, causing the implication of Babel.
After a triumphant trial for our leads team, Cha-young was overjoyed and promise that she will give anything Vincenzo asked for. Then Cha-young handed her a pen she bought to celebrate their friendship. During this scene, you can see that their relationship is growing deeper and maybe they’re starting to trust each other which results in their successful plan.
On the other hand, Joon-woo was so furious with the result of the trial and frustrated as he ordered Chairman Jang to hold a press conference to admit to the charges and declare the immediate production of BLSD. This episode also showed a scene where Joon-woo and Chairman Jang makes a bow on their father’s memorial altar. Although you can see how the brothers unite their forces, you can see how frightened Chairman Jang is to Joon-woo as he revealed how cruel he can be. It turns out that Joon-woo killed his father.
While their father was in a coma, Joon-woo instructed Jong-moon to inject something into his IV that leads to his death. I expected that Joon-woo can do things as cruel as killing his father because he also killed a lot of Babel employees. But based on this scene, I think Chairman Jang is not as wicked as Joon-woo, I guess he just does those things for the fright of getting killed by Joon-woo.
Looking back from episode 6, Gilbert who was a homeless man enters Chef Baek’s restaurant as the tenants celebrate their success of postponing the trial. He asked for food in exchange for information that he said can instantly change their lives. It turns out that Gilbert knew about the millions of gold that were hidden at Geumga Plaza three years ago, and he watched all the men who worked to hide the gold get killed.
The tenants were suspicious since Gilbert’s identity is not credible as he was a beggar. But their thoughts got entangled when he showed the phone of the slain worker and a photo as proof of where the gold was hidden back then as the workers pose with the gold bars.
The ending scene was quite chaotic but at the same time hilarious. Vincenzo proceed to his next plan and ordered Deok-Jin to let CEO Park break into Geumga Plaza to frame them and film an incident of assault. But Vincenzo’s plan didn’t turn out the way it was planned. Their plan was ruined by Team Leader Ahn, who was unaware of the scheme and got hurt, but he was rescued by the tenants and they fought to defend their own.
Vincenzo and Cha-young arrived at the scene and were shocked in disbelief as the tenants defeated CEO Park’s men. The ending was so hilarious as they imitate the painting “Liberty Leading the People” by Eugène Delacroix.
