Harvey Weinstein
The New York Times published a thorough article in 2017 regarding the decades-long accusations of sexual harassment and abuse made against Harvey Weinstein by several women.
This 70-year-old film producer was given a 23-year jail term in February 2020 for committing illegal sexual conduct. He raped a would-be actress sexually in 2013 after forcefully having oral sex with a production assistant for cinema and television in 2006.
Weinstein was extradited to California in 2021 and is now detained there as he awaits trial for allegedly abusing five women in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles between 2004 and 2013.
Ghislaine Maxwell
For giving kids to the sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein, who killed suicide in jail in 2019 before being brought to justice, this 60-year-old lady was given a 20-year prison term.
In December, a jury convicted Maxwell guilty of five sex trafficking offenses relating to the training and hiring young people to perform sex acts for her companion Epstein during a 1994–2004 abuse scheme.
The lady was given a 20-year term and was also required to pay a $750,000 fine.
R. Kelly
This 55-year-old American musician was found guilty of running a plan for the sex abuse of minors and women and received a 30-year jail term.
The artist was convicted guilty of organized crime and eight more counts of sex trafficking by a New York jury in September 2021, but the punishment wasn’t handed down until June 29, 2022.
Numerous witnesses testified against him throughout the six weeks of his trial. R. Kelly is now being monitored at a jail in New York for any signs that he could try to harm himself.
Bill Cosby
This guy pretended to be a mentor while using his popularity to corrupt scores of young people. Between 1960 and 2000, he was accused of sexually assaulting more than 60 women. But just one of the instances succeeded since it had previously been prescribed.
For penetration without permission, while unconscious, and penetration after the administration of a narcotic substance, he was found guilty in 2018 and given a term. After serving two years of a sentence that ranged from three to ten years in prison, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court reversed the 84-year-old actor’s conviction for sexual molestation, freeing him.
Keith Raniere
This guy promised a route to happiness to those who knew him via NXIVM. This firm provided self-improvement seminars quickly gaining popularity among Hollywood celebrities, businesspeople, and politicians.
Behind this, Raniere utilized that business to assault women sexually; some of them even had his initials tattooed on their bodies at a covert ceremony.
Raniere, now 61 years old, was given a 120-year jail term for sex trafficking and other offenses on October 27, 2020. The court also mandated that he pay a 1.75 million dollar fine.
