Dayanara Torres Is Finally Cancer-Free
The Puerto Rican actress and former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres just said she is now cancer-free. Plus, fans might be interested to know that she is currently planning to head to the Philippines for a visit after the coronavirus crisis.
Danayara revealed the good news in an IG Live video with singer Pops Fernandez last April 5. She said that she tested negative from the latest result.

She revealed that she had been battling cancer for one year, which was found last year.
“It was out of the blue,” she said. “I was working, I was being a judge on a show which is like ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in Spanish, flying every week at the beginning of the year. The next morning, I found out it was cancer.”
She went on to say that she had the treatment for a year, thanking the Lord and everyone for their prayers.

She said the amount of support and love she received during her battle with the disease is “amazing.”
“Last week, on Monday, I had my last test to just check if there’s anything kind of like left over hanging around, and everything was negative,” she continued.
So what’s next? Dayanara said that she is going to undergo some follow-up check-ups so to ensure that it will not happen again.
And, just after the present pandemic is over, the actress revealed to Pops that she is definitely going back to the Philippines, adding that she misses “everybody.”

It cannot be denied that Dayanara is among the most popular foreign actresses in the Philippines.
In fact, she appeared in quite a few television shows as well as Pinoy movies. She was actually the “Dancing Queen” of ASAP.
For those who do not know yet, she had a relationship with actor Aga Muhlach. On top of that, she was also previously married to Marc Anthony, an American-born Puerto Rican singer. They have two children.
