Kapamilya stars John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo were seen together in El Nido, Palawan.
In a Facebook post of Balitang Palawan, the former love team was seen talking in a gazebo while a small camera crew was nearby.
“Ano kaya ang title ng movie nila Popoy at Basha? Abangan. Kuha sa Barotuan Church, El Nido, Palawan habang sila ay nagti-taping,” the Facebook page wrote in the caption.
In an Instagram page dedicated to John Lloyd, the page also posted a close-up photo of the two while a fan asking them for a photo opportunity.
“Popoy and Basha reunited in Palawan,” the Instagram page captioned the post.
Popoy and Basha were the characters of John Lloyd and Bea in their blockbuster movie “One More Chance” and its sequel “A Second Chance.”
Meanwhile, in a report by Philstar.com, a source close to Pilipino Star Ngayon’s Salve Asis said that John Lloyd might be selling his Palawan resort to the actress.
In her Instagram post, Bea confirmed that she’s in Palawan recently. She posted a photo of herself in a black one-piece swimsuit while sitting in a chair in El Nido.
“Salty vibes. Still not done posting pictures from our recent beach trip. El nido, I will be back very soon Excited ako!” she wrote.
John Lloyd and Bea started as a love team in a teleserye “Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay” on 2002. Since then, they starred in numerous teleserye together such as t Might Be You, Ikaw ang Lahat sa Akin, Maging Sino Ka Man, I Love Betty La Fea, and A Beautiful Affair.
They also starred in blockbuster movies The Mistress, Miss You Like Crazy, Now That I Have You, All About Love, My First Romance, Close To You, among others.
Bea is in a relationship with actor Gerald Anderson while John Lloyd is having the time of his life away from showbiz limelight with partner Ellen Adarna together with their son Elias.
