Marjorie Barretto changes Instagram bio to ‘ghost writer’, Gretchen as ‘ghost buster’
The siblings war between Gretchen Barretto and Marjorie Barretto continues as the two controversial actresses of their generation changed their Instagram bio that looks like taking a swipe at each other.
In her Instagram account, Marjorie, mother of controversial actress Julia Baretto, updated her bio putting “Ghost Writer” in her description.
Meanwhile, the older Barretto also changed her bio to “Ghost Buster.”
The changes in the Barretto sisters Instagram bio came after Gretchen accused Julia of hiring a ghost writer for her recent statement in the controversy surrounding her, Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson.
In her Instagram account, Julia finally broke her silence saying she refused to be Bea’s victim.
Although she was not named in Bea’s post, Julia also criticized Bea on involving her to the controversy by liking a photo of a netizen regarding Julia and Gerald’s sweet gestures in the birthday party of Rayver Cruz.
“You have encouraged a culture of hate by purposely liking harmless photos, putting malice into the minds of many, which resulted in the outrage of insults against me. You are a woman of great influence and following. You could have used that power to promote strength and grace in women, but instead, you’ve used that to promote social media irresponsibility. That is downright bullying,” Julia said.
Apart from Gretchen who since the start of the controversy supported Bea commenting words of encouragement and sending flowers, Claudine Barretto also supported Bea in the controversy against her niece Julia.
Last March, Gretchen, and Claudine criticized their niece Dani Barretto for making it sound like she only raised by her mother Marjorie.
“Minahal ko si Dani. I thought I was her second mother and when she called me mama, sineryoso ko iyon. So parang nung sinabi niya na, ‘My mama was the only one there for me, who raised me,’ ano ako? Multo? Ano si Claudine? Multo?,” Gretchen said in her Instagram live video.
