In ABS-CBN’s morning talk show “Magandang Buhay,” Morisette was interviewed by host Melai Cantiveros, Jolina Magdangal, and Karla Estrada via phone patch saying she’s in Singapore to shoot the show.

“Mayroon kaming shinu-shoot dito sa Singapore, tinatawag po nating ‘Asian Dream’ na kasama ko po si Michael Bolton na maghanap ng susunod na Asian star. Ako po ang co-host,” Morissette said.

“The Voice” alumni said she’s happy to represent the country in an international show.

“Sobrang nakaka-proud po at very honored po ako kaya excited po ako sa bawat opportunity na ibinibigay sa akin. Kahit saan po lagi nating i-wave ang flag ng Philippines,” she said.

This is not the first time Morisette will co-host Michael’s show. Last 2017, Morisette was tapped by the Grammy winner for his show “Bolt of Talent.”

Morisette also joined Michael in a special duet of his No. 1 hit “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You” when the international singer held his Asian Dream Tour at the Grand Ballroom of Marriott Manila last 2017.

Apart from Michael Bolton, Morisette recently got the biggest surprise of her life when she met “A Whole New World” composer Alan Menken and Hollywood actor Will Smith in her recent trip in Japan where she and Alan had a duet of the popular Aladdin theme.

Amon with co-Kapamilya singer Darren Espanto sang the Philippine version of “A Whole New World” for its promotion in the country. However, Espanto couldn’t make it in Japan for prior commitments.

Morisette rose to fame after she competed in the first season of ABS-CBN’s The Voice of the Philippines in 2013, where she became part of Sarah Geronimo’s team.

She became a recording artist of Star Music in 2014 and released her first album. Morissette, later on, earned the label “Asia’s Phoenix” after her performance at the 14th Asia Song Festival in Busan, South Korea on September 24, 2017, to represent the Philippines.
