Manila, Philippines — Good News for Filipino Travelers! The Royal Government of Cambodia has approved the extension of 30-day, visa-free entry policy to Filipino travelers.

According to the Facebook update, the Philippine Embassy shared that our request for an extended visa-free stay for holders of regular or ordinary Philippine passports was granted by the government of Cambodia.

According to the embassy, Cambodia “agreed, in the spirit of reciprocity,” to its request to extend the initial period of stay for Philippine passport holders without a visa to 30 days upon arrival.

Being a member of ASEAN countries, The citizens of the Philippines and other member countries were permitted to stay in Cambodia up to 21 days without a need for a Visa.

In the said announcement, the Philippine Embassy in Cambodia also reminded Filipinos intending to stay in Cambodia for more than 60 days “to apply for a visa upon arrival at the port of entry in Cambodia to avoid inconvenience.”
