On Friday, 11 November 2022, Save the Children Philippines and Miss Universe Philippines will be organizing the Life Changer for Children luncheon, which will be hosted by the City Mayor’s Office of Iligan City. Miss Universe Philippines Celeste Cortesi 2022 and Miss Universe Philippines Charity 2022 Pauline Amelinckx will address the media and share their experiences during the visit to BARMM and the importance of investing in programs that will change the lives of children and their families.
The Life Changer Community Sponsorship Program is Save the Children’s whole-of-community, long-term approach to uplift the quality of lives of 15,000 people including 3,000 children and families in Mindanao. The program will be implemented in partnership with the local government to address needs on food and nutrition, education, hygiene and sanitation, and sustainable, culturally-appropriate livelihoods.
