Miss Universe Philippines is one of the most elusive beauty pageants in the country. In the wake of covid 19, the phenomenal pageant’s coronation night has been moved twice (June 14, 2020, and October 25). Finally, the long wait is over! Who do you think will be Gazini Ganados’ successor? Who will wear the new crown called “Filipina” and win the first-ever Miss Universe Philippines title under a new organization?

During the preliminary competition held in Baguio Country Club, Miss Bohol 2020, Pauline Amelincx bagged four out of nine special awards: she accorded Miss Creamsilk, Downy Sweetheart Award, Miss Cetaphil Sun, and Most Beautiful Face Award. She is definitely on the roll. But who is she?

Pauline Chucharo Amelinckx was born on August 26, 1996. Her hometown is in Tubigon, Bohol. This 24-year-old Boholana – Belgian stunner has earned her degree in International Studies major in European Studies at Cebu Doctor’s University. Pauline works in CWC Interiors Taguig as a Retail and Sales Consultant.

Pauline is no stranger to the pageantry world as she reigned Miss Global Beauty Queen PH in September 2018. She was also crowned as Miss Bohol 2017 and Miss JCI Philippines 2017. Pauline remarkably performed during Mutya ng Pilipinas 2018 as she won as Mutyang Institute and Miss Avon Fashion. She could have worn another crown if the Middle East’s tension didn’t happen as she was supposed to represent the Philippines in Miss Global Beauty Queen.

She is not just another pretty face. As a matter of fact, Pauline launched the “Hope in a Box” campaign where 50 kids from her hometown received boxes with coloring books, coloring materials, powdered milk, and fruits. We found out that drawing and making doodles are her forms of self-expression. Her unique advocacy is to raise awareness in the form of art so children can develop a sense of responsibility regarding the environment they live in. Pauline aims to tailor-fit education, fun, and safety with her strong desire to push through her campaign. On her Instagram post, she quoted, “The universe created you for a reason. Now go out there and find out what it is.”

Pauline is ready to step into the limelight and claim the Filipina crown! The Boholana contender is one of the most spontaneous speakers in the batch. She eloquently answered the questions which captured the eyes of the judges and the viewers. We are looking forward to seeing her angelic face as she walks with a crown on her head.
