Presented by Megaworld Lifestyle Malls in partnership with The Modern Market, the Eastwood City stop features vendors offering matcha and hojicha from various parts of Metro Manila. It offers a weekend showcase of inventive drinks, café-style snacks, pastries, and lifestyle products.

Guests will find more than just a standard matcha. The festival showcases creative and playful tea blends, featuring flavors inspired by biko, mango manchego, banana pudding, and other popular café treats. For those seeking a warmer, milder option, hojicha provides a roasted, earthy taste with a soothing, smooth finish.

The lineup features Block 6 Cafe, Cali Matcha, Days Off Space, Do Güd Cafe, Jamie’s Matcha, Klub Kame, No Doze, and Nuki Nuki, each offering a unique perspective on the expanding matcha and hojicha scene. In addition to food and beverages, visitors can explore accessories, scents, flowers, and other lifestyle items that enhance the overall experience.

The Matcha & Hojicha Collective demonstrates how Japanese tea is being reinterpreted for modern consumers. Matcha has expanded from traditional methods to include lattes and desserts, and hojicha is increasingly popular in specialty beverages due to its warm, roasted flavor. Together, they illustrate how heritage teas are gaining fresh relevance in today’s café scene.

The Eastwood City run is scheduled from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Friday, and from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday. Entry is free.

Whether guests are seasoned matcha enthusiasts, first-time hojicha explorers, or just searching for an engaging weekend activity, Eastwood City welcomes all to visit, experience new flavors, and enjoy a lively event with great drinks, pastries, food, and discoveries.
