The Philippine biggest beauty pageant is finally on and they already released the final list and photos of this years 40 official candidates.

At the coronation night, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and Miss International 2018 first runner-up Ahtisa Manalo will pass their crowns to the next Philippine representative to two of the Big Four international beauty pageants in Miss Universe 2019 and Miss International 2019, respectively.

As of now, here’s the list of our Binibining Pilipinas 2019 early favorites:

Gazini Ganados

Talisay City, Cebu native Gazini Ganados, 23, grew up with her grandparents. It is through this that she developed a desire to take care of the elderly, a commitment she wants to carry on as a beauty pageant contestant.

Hannah Arnold

Online English teacher Hannah Arnold of Masbate has a degree in Forensic Studies. This 23-year-old wants to be able to move people to provide educational supplies to students so that they will be motivated to study hard and pursue their dreams.

Patricia “Patch” Magtanong

Bataan Native Patch Magtanong, 24, grew up idolizing her father who is a lawyer. Now a graduate of Law herself, she wants to promote the rights of prisoners, maintaining that even they have rights to humane treatment.

Emma Tiglao

Fashion, Print Model and host Emma Tiglao, 24, of Pampanga, advocates helping abandoned and less fortunate children. She says she wants to be an “ate” and inspire these children to dream of a better future.

Vickie Rushton

Vickie Marie Milagrosa Sausa Rushton is a Filipino actress, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas 2011 and Binibining Pilipinas 2018 1st Runner Up. Prior to her win at Mutya ng Pilipinas, she was a Lin-ay sang Negros who represented the city of Talisay. She also joined the Big Brother Reality TV Show of ABS-CBN.

Maria Andrea “Aya” Abesamis

Earning a degree in Fine Arts Major in Painting from the University of Santo Tomas, 27-year-old model Aya Abesamis naturally gravitates toward arts as an advocacy. She believes creative arts can be used as a transformative tool for vulnerable members of the society.

Samantha Bernardo

Samantha is a 25-year-old professional model from Puerto Princesa City Palawan (Height: 5’8). She loves dancing, playing sports, meditating.

Samantha Ashley Lo

Working as an ESL (English as a Second Language) instructor, 26-year-old Samantha Ashley Lo of Cebu City believes in the power of education. That is why she takes it upon herself to teach young children in public schools how to read.

Shane Quintana Tormes

Shane is a 26-year-old model from Polangui, Albay. She loves watching documentaries about British and Russian monarchies, reading and Internet surfing.

Ilene Astrid De Vera

Model Ilene de Vera, 23, of Mandaue City, Cebu was raised by a single mother. Wanting to give back not just to her mom, Ilene has worked with a women’s organization to promote women’s rights and provide support for single mothers.

Binibining Pilipinas 2019 Schedule of Events

The 56th edition of Binibining Pilipinas is in collaboration with Miss Universe Philippines. The coronation night will take place on June 9, 2019, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines.
