ABS-CBN has a new offering — the upcoming Kapamilya series “The Killer Bride.” And, it features four of the brightest stars in the showbiz industry — Janella Salvador, Maja Salvador, Joshua Garcia, and Geoff Eigenmann.
The new series is going to tackle love and fear as well as seeking justice for the death of a love that was once teeming with life.
What is interesting about this series is that this is the first time Janella and Maja — who both come from the Salvador clan — in a big project at the Kapamilya station.
The Killer Bride Storyline
This is the big television comeback of Maja. And, it seems that her role in this series is interesting and thrilling. She will act as Camila Dela Cuesta who is described as a woman with wit, pure heart, and beauty. Camila is going to fall in love with Geoff’s role, Vito. In spite of the challenges that they will face in their relationship, the two will decide to get married.
A major scandal, however, will spread in the town of Las Espadas as Vito will see Camila drenched in blood holding a knife beside the dead body of his brother on their wedding day. The town will then tag Camila as the “killer bride.” The prison will then be ravaged by a fire that will cause Camila’s death.
After many years, quite a few townsfolk will claim that they have seen a woman, wearing veil and dress with full of blood.
Emma (Janella’s role) will soon enter the picture. With her arrival, the legend of the killer bride will turn into a reality. She will claim she is possessed by the spirit of Camila.
A lot of people will not believe Emma. These include Joshua’s role, Elias. Elias is among the workers of Vito. Dela Cuestas will show compassion to Elias. As such, he will vow to protect the family, even from the harm Emma could bring.
What people should watch out for are the role of Emma to revenge against Dela Cuestas and the role of Elias in the life of Emma.
The cast of the series will include Loren Burgos, Alexa Ilacad, Dominic Ochoa, Keanna Reeves, Eric Nicolas, Eddie Gutierrez, Cris Villanueva, Aurora Sevilla, Lara Quigaman, James Blanco, Sam Concepcion, and Ariella Arida.
This new series will surely delight a lot of Kapamilya fans.
