Manila, Philippines — The Philippine Travel Mart (PTM) — dubbed the longest-running travel trade exhibition in the country — is now on its 30th anniversary. And, it is going to be more fun and exciting.

Set on August 30 through September 1, 2019, the staging of the PTM is expected to be one of the most memorable, according to the organizer — the Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA).

As always, PTM is aimed at promoting and developing domestic and inbound tourism as the event showcases the finest, latest attractions and tourism offerings in the Philippines.

That’s not all, those who are going to attend this event can also expect to see offerings from other parts of the globe, particularly for those attractions that are located in the ASEAN region, such as Japan, China, and Korea.

The country supports the promotion of intra-regional travel, ASEAN countries in particular, as being a part of the ASEAN Community.

Not Less Than 250 Exhibitors

Those who consider themselves “travelers” should not miss this event as it is going to feature more than 250 exhibitors that range from theme parks, resorts/hotels, tours, and travel agencies, as well as airlines. They are going to occupy the four halls of the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

There will be different zones during the exhibition, which include: Pink Zone (Health and Wellness, Culinary); Green Nature (Cultural and Farm Tourism); Blue Zone (Sun, Beach, Cruise and Marine Sports); and Yellow Zone (MICE and Entertainment).

Those who wish to attend have to note these specific dates: From August 30 to September 1, 2019, the show is going to open to the public from 10:00 AM through 8:00 PM. On August 30, however, note that the show will start from 11:00 AM because the exhibition is going to be exclusive to the industry from 8:00 until 11:00 AM.

During this period, it is anticipated that foreign and corporate buyers are going to visit and meet the exhibitors.

PTM Targets Millenials

As the PTM is targeting millennials, it is giving away special offerings to them. These can be viewed online prior to and during the event.

There will also be online promo contests that will be launched before the event. Prices will be in the form of travel vouchers. These vouchers range from Php 5,000 through Php 25,000. Winners can then redeem these vouchers as they buy their tour packages during the trade show.
