Marjorie Barretto to take legal action vs photo uploader, Gretchen Barretto shows support to Bea Alonzo
Manila, Philippines — Julia Barretto’s mother, Marjorie Barretto will take legal action against a certain Kath Cabrera, the one who uploaded the controversial photo of Julia with Gerald Anderson.
A netizen commented on Marjorie’s Instagram account asking the actress if they plan to take legal actions against Kath.
“Ms. Marj you should take legal action with this fan @cabrera.kath sya po ang pasimuno ng pagpapakalat ng pictures wherein giving false accusations between Gerald and Julia, naninira po sya! Idemandan nyo po para magka lesson sya!” a netizen told Marjorie.
“Yes I Will,” Marjorie replied to the netizen.
Marjorie also thanked Julia’s fans for the concern as she said they will release a statement soon regarding the controversy.
“Thank you. Julia is strong. Don’t worry. We will come out with a statement,” she said.
“I raised my children to stand up to BULLIES,” she added in another comment.
Marjorie also commented to the now-deleted account of Kath saying she sees nothing wrong with the photo of Julia and Gerald.
“Please explain too that this was taken at the party of Rayver. That you zoomed in this photo. If you care to zoom out, you will see that they were a big group that includes my nephew. I don’t see anything wrong with this photo. They don’t seem to be hiding,” Marjorie said.
“There are people around, and if I’m not mistaken, Julia was waving at someone. This is not a date. They know each other, they have worked together, they are friends,” she added.
Meanwhile, Julia’s aunt and Marjorie’s sibling Gretchen Barretto showed support to Bea Alonzo.
In Bea’s Instagram post, Gretchen commented:
“I love you my dearest one.”
Last 2013, Marjorie had a major scandal after an alleged photo of her exposing her private parts circulated online. She first denied that the woman in the photo is not her but later admitted that it was her.
