Lake Eola Park
Orlando is fondly nicknamed “the Beautiful City”. So it is obvious that the natural beauty of Orlando is something to behold if the right spots are located. With the glorious sunshine drawing everyone outdoors, visitors will not be disappointed with the attractions awaiting them. So take a break from the bustle of downtown Orlando and venture out to Lake Eola Park, right at the heart of the city.
The remarkable amphitheater is the ideal place to enjoy a concert during the evening and take in the skyline of Orlando against the beautiful sunset. Alternatively, you could visit the Fort Christmas Historical Park and immerse yourself in the wonderful fairs and historically minded entertainment – great fun for the family.
Culture
If a more sophisticated experience is desired, Orlando has a hugely vibrant and diverse cultural scene for you to explore. The venues usually offer free admission. For example, the CityArts Factory offers free admission Tuesday to Saturday 11 am to 6 pm and the downtown location showcases fantastic work by both local and international artists.

The collection is particularly eclectic so there is certain to be something for everyone to enjoy. The Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center of Florida may be a daunting prospect for some holidaymakers looking for a relaxed trip, but this venue offers a truly admirable and emotive memorial to Holocaust victims which most will find both moving and fascinating.
While visiting Orlando, it is essential (particularly for the adults), that a visit is made to the wonderful vineyards of Florida. And there are regular events which offer free wine tasting sessions and some free food tasting. The Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards offers free tasting, tours and festivals and its position, sitting on a beautiful 80-acre area just North of Orlando, is quite heavenly.
