But the 40-year-old Pacquiao opted for Thurman instead, a decision he later explained by saying, “I chose Thurman because he is undefeated and I want to prove that even at 40 I can still beat the best like Keith.”

Keith Thurman, despite admiring Manny Pacquiao, promised to retire the legend from the sport and do to him what he did to Oscar De La Hoya.
