- June 20 and 21, 2019 are declared as special non-working holidays by Malacañang
- Walang Pasok: areas declared include areas in Batangas, Pangasinan, Zamboanga del Sur, Agusan del Sur, and Saranggani
- Classes should be suspended and those that will need to work should be compensated properly on this day
Manila, Philippines – Malacañang has declared Thursday and Friday, June 20 and 21, 2019, as a special holiday for certain areas in the Philippines.
The proclamations will only affect certain municipalities, depending on the occasion that they will be celebrating.
The places that are affected include areas in Batangas, Pangasinan, Zamboanga del Sur, Agusan del Sur, and Saranggani.

- Proclamation No. 742 states that June 20 is a special non-working holiday for those in Lipa City, Batangas, for their 72nd Founding Anniversary.
- Proclamation No. 743 states that June 20 is a special non-working holiday for residents of Dagupan City, Pangasinan, in celebration of their 72nd Charter Anniversary.
- Proclamation No. 744 states that June 21 is a special non-working holiday for Zamboanga del Sur in celebration of their 50th Charter Anniversary. The actual date of the anniversary falls on a weekend, June 22.
- Proclamation No. 745 states that June 21 is a special non-working holiday for those in the municipality of Balete, Batangas for their Founding Anniversary.
- Proclamation No. 746 states that June 21 is a special non-working holiday for those living in Rosario, Agusan del Sur, in celebration of the Yagi-Yagi Festival of Native Cultural Heritage.
- Proclamation No. 747 states that June 21 is a special non-working holiday for residents of Bayugan, Agusan del Sur, for their 12th Charter Anniversary
- Proclamation No. 748 states that June 21 is a special non-working holiday for Maasim, Sarangani, for two celebrations: Their Founding Anniversary and Kastebeng Festival.
- Proclamation No. 749 states that June 21 is a special non-working holiday for the people of Laurel, Batangas so they can celebrate their 50th Founding Anniversary.
Once a day is declared as such, classes are suspended on that day, and most establishments would be closed, too.
For stores and such that need to be open on that day, an additional 30% of their pay will be added as compensation for employees working on that holiday.
