Gerald Anderson now an army reservist, Undergoes training for new teleserye
Controversial actor Gerald Anderson is now officially joined the Philippine army as an army reservist after completing a short training at Camp Tecson in San Miguel, Bulacan.

In a Twitter post by ABS-CBN News entertainment reporter MJ Felipe, Gerald along with his co-stars in the upcoming ABS-CBN teleserye Elmo Magalona, Nash Aguas, Yves Flores, and Jerome Ponce completed a three-day Soldier’s Skills Orientation Training.
“In photos, Gerald Anderson, Elmo Magalona, Nash Aguas, Yves Flores and Jerome Ponce holding their certificates after finishing a 3-day Soldier’s Skills Orientation Training in Camp Tecson San Miguel, Bulacan. They graduated as Private Reservists of the Philippine Army,” MJ wrote in the caption.
According to reports, Matteo Guidicelli, who recently finished his scout ranger training last June, was one of the instructors in the training.

In a report by Philstar.com last July, Gerald described how their training went through.
“Nag-training kami, nag-bootcamp kami. Hindi kami tinrato parang artista, which was very good lalo na sa ibang cast na parang first nilang gagawa ng ganung klaseng show,” Gerald said.
“Every taping day sobrang excited kami kasi sobrang ganda ng mga eksena, kahit sobrang hirap. Sobrang nakakapagod s’ya physically pero exciting,” he added.
Their new teleserye “A Soldier’s Heart” has still no release date yet but Gerald assured that it was different from his past teleserye “Tayong Dalawa” where he also portrayed a soldier character.
